| Thank you for your interest in the Women’s Ministry at Applewood Baptist Church.
Our Women’s Ministry exists for reaching, teaching and ministering to the women of our church and community so that each woman will come to faith, maturity, and service through a relationship with God, His Word, and each other.
There are many distractions in life. Our theme verse calls us to turn our attention to things of worth:
“Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me according to your way.” Psalm 119:37
Our Bible studies, programs, and events are planned with your needs in mind. Your heart will be inspired, your life enriched, and your relationships strengthened, especially your relationship with the Lord. Our hope is that you will experience the activity of the Lord in your life, and be a part of the great things ahead that He has planned for each of us. Come along with us and let’s walk together to get closer to Him.

Women's Bible Study - Fall
Tuesdays, beginning September 14, our Tuesday Bible study groups will do a study by Priscilla Shirer called "Jonah - Navigating Life's Interruptions." The morning sessions will be 9:00 - 11:15 AM and the evening group will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Childcare is available for both sessions. Download and print a registration form or register online.

Prayer Creations is a knit and crochet ministry for women who want to pray and fellowship while creating goods for those in need. If you knit, crochet or want to learn, you are invited! Prayer Creations will meet at Applewood on the 1st Monday and 3rd Wednesday of every month. Monday meetings are at 7 PM and Wednesday meetings are at 1 PM. |

Prayer Team
Our prayer team is the foundation of all we do in Women’s Ministry. This group of prayer warriors meets once a month and prays specifically for the women of our church and community, as well as for the events and programs at Applewood.

Women's Bible Study
The Tuesday Ladies' Bible Study meets in the fall and spring for praise and worship, small group meetings, and large group lecture. The morning group meet from 9 AM to 11 AM and the evening group meets on Tuesdays from 6:45 to 8:30 PM. Shelley McKendry, a dynamic teacher, is our Bible Study leader and brings the study to life. Childcare is provided.

Faithful & Fit
Just for women, our aerobic and strength training exercise classes meet as scheduled. Please check the calendar for the current schedule. There is NO CHARGE!! Bring a mat and water; weights are provided.

Scrappin’ in Faith
Ladies are invited to meet and create memories that will last a lifetime. Scrapbookers of all ages and experience levels are welcome. These groups are free of charge, but each lady is responsible for bringing her own supplies. Some supplies are available for purchase. Scrapbook on designated Saturdays at the home of Julie Duff. See the calendar for your next opportunity as well as a map.

Women’s Counseling
Our Women’s Counseling program is free. Our counselor, Lois Dick, is certified in Women’s Counseling and has many years of experience. Contact Lois at 303-232-9575.
