Descriptions of the Sunday Bible study groups for all ages
There is a great place to find new friends, build relationships, and discover God’s truth through Bible study. It is all done in a Life Application Group also known as a LifeApp Group. It is possible to find LifeApp Groups at any time during the week, at different places, and targeting various groups of people. The most common LifeApp Groups are found on campus on Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. A few meet at 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Every LifeApp Group targets various age groups of adults and students. You are always invited to find the LifeApp Group you can connect to and belong to.
A LifeApp group is the one group everyone should belong to. The group is a launching point for studying the Bible, connecting to worship and ministry, reaching new people, and multiplying, that is, beginning a new group from the existing one. Every LifeApp group is involved in accomplishing these tasks and all groups are connected through the same study plan of God’s Word.
Students, children and preschoolers do not have LifeApp groups but they do have Bible Teaching Groups where opportunity to discover Bible truth is the main task each week. So on Sunday morning there is a place on campus for every member of the family!

During this hour there is a worship service and LifeApp groups as scheduled. There is extended care for preschoolers. Children's worship is available for children in grades 1-6 (during the school year)
No adult classes are currently scheduled at 11:00 AM.
Student Groups - Grades 7 thru 12
Bible Teaching Groups for students are a great way to get into the Bible with small groups. Our student groups are organized for a meaningful learning experience. Students meet in a large group at the beginning but dismiss to small groups described below. All student groups meet in the north building on the third floor.
Children's Bible Teaching Groups - Grades 1 thru 6
J225 kidz@abc on Sunday morning is a great place for kids to learn about the Bible and timeless truths they will carry for life. Our children are grouped according to the grade they currently attend in school.
In the children’s division we strive to keep the highest safety standards possible. To help us with this please escort your children to their classroom. If necessary to cross the street, please use caution and stay in the crosswalk with your children.
Children's Bible Teaching Groups meet in the building on the north side of 32nd Avenue, on the lowest level.

The Preschool Bible Teaching Groups are an important place and time for young children. Applewood Baptist Church desires to teach foundational Bible truths in a safe and comfortable environment, so we are glad you are here. Please see a preschool supervisor to check your child(ren) in before going to the classroom.
