KidZone is a very special place for kids in 1st through 6th grade at Applewood's Children's Ministry! Our vision is to introduce children to Jesus and teach them to love him.

Applewood provides several regularly-scheduled programs for kids, and even more special events! There's something for everyone -- from kids who have never attended church to kids who need that extra spiritual challenge.

Special Events

	Vacation Bible School 2010 is July 19-23 Monday - Friday, 9 AM to Noon Check-in every day at 8:30 AM Sorry! Preschool VBS is full. We cannot accept any more children ages Kindergarten and younger. Registration forms will be available at 8:30 AM every day for new children at the Courtyard Corral Check-in Station. Parents are invited to a Meet-n-greet casual breakfast on Wednesday at 9 AM and also to the musical presentation on Friday at 11:30 AM.
	Wild Wednesdays 2010   August 4 - Denver Aquarium (sign up deadline July 25)  Sign up for one, two or all three! Just $10 per day per child. Bowling and Jungle Quest, 9 AM - 2 PM, Aquarium, 9 AM - 3 PM. Adult sponsors needed! Here are the details and 2 sign-up forms. (You need a separate form for each child.) Email LeAnn if you have questions or want to be a sponsor. Here is just a registration form. (For kids who were in grades 1-6 last year.)

Bible Teaching Groups

Our experienced Bible teachers guide children through the Bible in a fun and relevant learning environment. Classes are offered in our North building for kids in grades 1 through 6 at 9:30 AM every Sunday.

AREA 56 is for kids in 5th and 6th grades. We have a special 'space', and a cool 'atmosphere' and fun for all the 'stars' of our group. It will be their study place, their fun place, their activity place, their growing place...in fact it will be everything they need!

Awana

Awana is extreme fun, extreme friends, and totally extreme Bible learning. Our Awana club follows the school-year calendar and meets on Sunday evenings from 5 to 6:30 PM. Kids are welcome to join the club anytime during the school year.

TeamKid

Our Wednesday night program (6 to 8 PM during the school year) starts with the Praise Brigade from 6:15-7 PM. The Praise Brigade uses music, dance, drama, and sometimes instruments to praise the Lord. They prepare a music program or musical that will be presented at the end of the quarter.

At 7 PM kids in grades 1-6 will enjoy TeamKid! TeamKID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. Every part of TeamKID—Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application and recreation—all connect to teach life lessons to kids.

KidZone special events include vacation Bible school, summer camp, Fall Frenzy and other seasonal special events.
